Fabric - 6 repeats
This means if the fabric repeat is 12 inches you will need six 12 inch sections plus a bit for squaring. Fabric with 12 inch repeats will require 2 1/8 yards. Fabric with a 24 inch repeat will require 4 1/8 yards. Some designs will use the fabric as a border or part of the backing, to show what the fabric looked like before it was made into hexagons. IF this is something you'd like to do please buy an extra 1 1/2 yards. It may not be available later. Quilt size will be determined by the amount of hexagons made which is determined by the size of repeat.
(Optional) Cubed Fabric - fat quarters of at least 3 different coordinating fabrics (this can be selected after some hexagons have been made)
Class One - Cutting triangles for hexagons sewing Half Hexagons
Class Two - Designing and Constructing the top. At this point, we can have a better idea as to the internal size of the quilt. Borders can then be added and designed to make the quilt size you desire.
Be aware that if you want a large quilt, do not select a fabric with a 12 inch repeat. Select a fabric that has the largest repeat possible.
